Make plans to attend the Carnegie Science Center's presentation SolarQuest at the Barlow Library on July 17th at 11:00am. Blast into orbit around the Earth with NASA's Solar Dynamics Observatory, or SDO. The SDO is a satellite for exploring the Sun. In this show, participants embark on a SolarQuest-a quest to learn about our star, the Sun! Participants learn how the Sun works, how we study it with our satellite, and how the Sun interacts with the Earth and makes life possible. Registration is required.
