Accessing your account and the catalog from mobile
On the mobile website, you will see three white bars at the top of the page. Tap on that to open the navigation menu. Towards the bottom of the navigation menu you will see Catalog. You can tap on Catalog to go straight to our catalog or you can tap on the white arrow to the right of Catalog to show the My Account option. You can then click on My Account to be taken to the Catalog's sign in page and then you'll be redirected to your account.
Stacks Now Open for Browsing
The stacks at the Washington County Public Libraries are now open. The Lafayette Library will still operate with drive-thru service only. Curbside pickup is still available. We will begin collecting money again on Monday, March 22nd. The hours at all locations will continue to be Monday-Friday, 10 a.m.-6 p.m., and Saturday, 10 a.m.-2 p.m.
Ohio Mask Mandate
Current order as of April 5, 2021 -
Beginning November 16th at 12:01 AM, all of Ohio will be under a mandatory mask order while out in public, as announced by Governor DeWine. Failure to adhere to these rules will result in the health department closing the library.
Masks must be worn at all times when:
•At an indoor location that’s not a residence •Outdoors, when unable to keep 6 feet social distance from those not in your household •When waiting for, riding, driving, or operating public transportation -taxi, car service, private rideshare
This order only requires those who are 10 years old or older to wear a mask. In addition, the following do NOT need to wear a mask:
•Those with a medical condition or a disability or those communicating with someone with a disability •Those who are actively exercising or playing sports •Those who are officiants at religious services •Those who are actively involved in public safety or •Those who are actively eating or drinking If you arrive at the library without a mask, we will have masks available for your use.
