Young Pioneer Trolley Tours
The Washington County Public Library is offering FREE Young Pioneer Trolley Tours on the Marietta Trolley! These fun, one-hour tours are designed especially for kids and feature engaging stories about Marietta’s history, plus a scavenger hunt along the way!
Step back in time and discover the rich history, charming streets, and hidden gems of Ohio’s first settlement. Our guided trolley tours offer a fun and engaging way to explore the stories, architecture, and culture that make Marietta truly unique.
Whether you’re a history buff, first-time visitor, or longtime resident, there’s always something new to see and learn along the way. Sit back, relax, and enjoy the ride as our knowledgeable guides bring Marietta’s past and present to life. From historic landmarks to scenic views along the Ohio River,
every tour is an experience you won’t want to miss.
These tours will start at 9 am and meet at The Armory, 241 Front Street, Marietta.

The Trolley is a historic vehicle and is not handicapped accessible, nor is it air-conditioned.
